Want to trade? D: My state completely skipped spring today and went into summer... 80+ degrees ;_; IT'S TOO HOT

definitely!! Here, it's been up and down for weeks... it'll be decent (but SUPER windy) during the day, then freezing at night. Right now it's 47°, so comfortable, but I wouldn't mind if it'd warm up a little more :V

By the way, the coloring in this is ;A; amazing <3 Do you still use SAI or is this Photoshop? I'm trying to get better at using color and such but it's so hard ;3; I'm so envious of how you can get such bright colors in your pieces without it looking like a sparkle dog threw up on your canvas

I used to work pretty much only in sai, but I've totally turned that around and now I pretty much only use photoshop. XD This was 100% photoshop. I think color has always been my main strength when it comes to art so I don't really know how to explain what I do... XD but using multiply and screen layers at low opacity often helps to pull things together, I find.

Would you be able to tell/show me a screen shot of your lineart brush settings? I've had some difficulty getting it as smooth as I would like :T I did do my recent badges at a VERY high resolution which seemed to help; did you use that for this image?

I've been using Photoshop for my independent study this semester, and I'm trying to switch over to using it entirely as it's just SO much more robust ><

yeah, I did this one pretty huge (4500 px tall, 300 dpi). It's hard to take screenshots because pretty much all of the brushes are use are custom brushes that I change the scatter and transfer on.
this is one of my favorite brush packs that I use a lot: http://sakimichan.deviantart.com/ar.....shes-343664542, the third up from the right column, the kind of slanted one at 70px, is probably the brush I use more than anything else. photoshop is a beast to get used to but in general it's just so much more versatile than sai that I don't think I can ever go back. ;w;
