Runt smiled softly taking a short breath after tucking Rikku and Sylphie into bed nice and lovingly for an afternoon nap, watching them drift off to sleep as he flicked on the night light, dim little puppies and kittens chasing each other across the walls.
He streeeeeched it had been a long day and looking after cubs was a lot of hard work but he always felt so happy, so loved doing it he couldn't imagine anything else.
"Unka Runt..." Zee-Zee peeked his head out of the bedroom door, "We can't sleep..."
Runt smiled and kneeled down fuzzling Zee-Zee's hair, "Oh is that right champ?"
Zee-Zee nodnodded softly and took the large puppy by the paw leading him into the room where Gem was sitting with Grub on the edge of the bed hiding behind Grub slightly as Zee-Zee led Runt into the room.
"H...hiiaah uncaa want..." She gurgled softly starting to gum lightly on Grub's head hiding behind him more as she did.
"So neither you or Zee-Zee can sleep huh..." Runt asked smiling softly at them both.
"Nuh uh..." Zee-Zee said, "We are still super fully both awake little squirrels and totally didn't hear you giving Slyphie and Rikku a horsie ride."
Runt smiled softly and got down on all fours, "Ooooh is that right champ, what a super clever squirrel you are."
Zee-Zee beamed proudly as Gem carefully slid off the bed onto the floor crawling across to Runt beeping up at his nose softly.
"Here... help your little sister onto my back and then hold onto her tightly okies champ, we'll go once around the room and see if that helps you sleepy..."

Zee-Zee giggled holding tightly onto his little sister as Gem clung to Grub looking a little confused and feeling very sleepy all over.
