I gotta be more careful where I'm swinging my tail!
At around 9 or 10 pm at FurtheMore we went out to get dinner. While driving around looking for restaurants that were open we spotted this collapsed building, so we did the safe thing. We pulled over to investigate!

My only guess would be structural failure due to long-term neglect. Probably water seeping into the mortar between the bricks freezing and thawing, and causing it to crumble over time, eventually weakening a portion of the wall to the point of it being unstable. A strong windstorm might have helped it along. There was no charring on the wood inside and the area isn't earthquake prone though.
There was a distillery there at one time and that was the warehouse, I'm told. The wooden racks held barrels of spirits :)
After a bad rain, something subsided there and it started coming down. That's a low spot and always had water problems from a creek out back.
There are still some fairly neat buildings around Bmore :)
