Floating village in the main harbor of Bai'O, Lunana. The Kaklaks, house cats by species, are a distinct ethnic group with a separate language, accent, customs, religious beliefs and clothing style from the rest of Bai'O and many other cities on the east coast of Lunana. They spend most of their lives on the water, their main income being fishing, boat building and running seafood restaurants.
There are an estimated 50,000 living in Bai'O alone, and there are believed to be over a million total. However, numbers are hard to come by since they refuse to register with the government and a large portion of their ethnic group are nomadic, moving from place to place.
