Chakat Lazuli

I haven't drawn a taur in a LONG time, and I recently got a commission for one sooooo what better way to warmup for a taur commish than by drawing a taur of my own? I've been wanting an excuse to draw my Chakat Lazuli for awhile now, and since I also DIDN'T want to eff up 
Akkarri's commission, I opted to practice by drawing my own character first. I think I've got the hang of 'taurs again! ;)
This unusually colored chakitty was acutally once normally colored like a typical orange coated, black striped tigress...but over time gradually found hir fur shifting to the boldly blue color you see now due to either chemical exposure, or ingestion of certain herbs/plants over a course of time (still working out hir 'set' history, but didn't just want to say 'shi stepped thru a teleporter/was covered in goo/was born wildly different than any other chakat' like so many stories I've read LOL tho they were all great stories!) Shi now works as a massage therapist and purveyor or herbal remedies, but does still like to dabble with science. Shi's like the kid who always had a science kit when growing up LOL
I hope to do a pic of hir someday in mid colorshift where shi's still partially orange...we'll see. :) (Oh, and that--ahem--shittily drawn compound there on the left is the chemical composition of the color Pthalo Blue ;) the others floating around are just random chains XD)
(And btw...Shir Lazuli is single ;) I had a mate semi created for hir but hey ;)

Wonder if Shir Joywind would like to be a contestant....?
When I initially created hir, shi got hir name from her sparkling blue eyes that contrasted so brightly against hir orange and black fur...and when hir coat color became the same, the name was even more fitting. ;)
Now I'm curious...is there a story behind Joywind's name?

Humm was thinking of the shows like the Bachelor or the Bachelorette and wonder how that would work with Chakats considering *giggles*
I hope to do tons more taur pics once I've honed my skills a bit more. I've got some feline anatomy books to help me work on chakats and felitaurs, so I shall have to dig those out methinks. ;)
Lots of different options with interactions in such a group, wouldn't you think?

I'm hoping to doodle on my day off tomorrow and Joywind is on my list for sure heehee. Maybe ill doodle up more or hir once I'm all caught up....^_^
Is shi single?
I wouldn't mind cuddling with hir.
If all else fails well, who knows XD (currently hir headfur is the only thing that remained the same as it was before, being a pure white ;)
