Spent several weeks on this illustration and finally finished (October 2012). Seems like I could have done better after all that time.
Picture of Queen Chrysalis ordering her changeling minions to attack.
Done in GIMP 2.8 with a mouse with 151 layers (not all of which are used in the final image).
My name is also discreetly signed into two places in the image. Curious as to whether anyone can find them, although it's difficult unless you know what to look for.
