A DnD campaign with 
ginsanada and a few other friends left off one night with the party acquiring a large chocobo, summoned by the magic of a wild mage. I, being the one it bonded to, named it Checkers The Mecha Chicken.
One session, our ranger-cleric decided to cast a Commune With Animal spell, learning quite quickly that Checkers was indeed as chaotic and neurotic as its summoner.
