What do they become drunk arsonists when they drink, or is it basically their world's equivalent of drunk driving? (In this case Jake is the car)

I think its more, a drunk Jake can't maintain the concentration required to not set things spontaneously on fire. It isn't that he wants to see the world burn, it's that it takes to much willpower to prevent said apocolypse...

If its come to the point were your forcing yourself to draw and its draining you, you may want to cut back to doing one comic a week again for a while. Don't burn yourself out.

Haha, Sounds like my DnD party visited their town. They have a habit of lighting things on fire, you know the things that aren't supposed to burn, and then getting caught and dying to the enraged mob. Three times.

Don't worry, mine is worse than yours: We like to put evenything in sight (or is there is fire traps link to the other room, those will be first used then set some fire on the button) on fire, including our own party.
