I did consider sunset for a moment, but I wanted to work with blue tones for this pic, mainly to merge the bg with more or less the same colors Xiane have (white and blue) but im not sure if do them with warm day colors or cold night blue colors.
But a sunset pic isnt a bad idea, maybe choose other character with more warm colors next time.
