Of course It's about the art. I'm sure there's artists out there Dying that we don't know of just because there work isn't as popular. It's sad but true because that's how people work. If they cant contribute to make it worth while to you then then they get ignored. Miu is able to make cute sexy entertaining art but if not you wouldn't even know him. Just saying. :/
You know, I appreciate what you're trying to say, and was even going to write a long response to it but just reading your post makes me think you've either had a rough day or seen some unfortunate things happen that have left a serious mark on you. Whatever it is/was, I hope you're free of it someday. Folks are out there, complete strangers even, who are willing to listen if you want to talk about it.
I will defend myself a little bit though: I didn't find out about Miu via his art. I actually met him first through a friend and I actually spoke to him, albeit briefly, before I saw/owned any of his work. Having spoken to him and found him to be kind, positive and incredibly open minded I chose to follow his activities as he seemed like the kind of person I'd like to support. Not the artist I'd like to support, the person. There are plenty of other incredibly talented people out there, many that I do not and will not ever know either due to lacking the same positive and kind personality (or some other traits) that drew me to Miu or just by pure circumstance. I can't argue that Miu's art gets him a lot of attention but I don't think that makes him less deserving of well wishing or even that it should belittle the well wishing of those who do follow him because of it. I believe that his art is a product of his personality as a whole and as such find nothing wrong with appreciating someone for their art.
Anyway, it's early, I'm rambling and likely not making a whole lot of sense.

I'm glad to hear. I actually keep an occasional eye on the site for any updates, so it's nice to know that some are down the pipe.
More importantly, it's just good to hear that you're doing better now and with any luck, it'll stay that way this time... at least for a good, long while.
