A preschool teacher in michigan is collecting letters from every state and she emailed our school about it asking for one.
My boss had assigned me to do a letter quickly for them, so I had.
I tried to choose facts that were easily identifiable for 3-4 year olds.

If the colors look weird it's because this is a scan of a copy of the original picture that I had made. The original got sent out in the mail a while ago.

And yes the Song "Happy birthday to you" was written in Kentucky by a couple of kindergarten teachers!!
The race horse thing may be an exaggeration but the folks around here are super proud of their horse farms *shrug*
