Idea: Parties of the Poutine Variety thecrazydragon a very pleasant and wonderful artist hosted a "Poutine Party" image and I have to say I'm very impressed by the variety and setup that she approached this image with. Lots of fun going on and a variety of amusing little shenanigans. But don't worry I'm sure we'll get to eating eventually. Afterall it wouldn't be a party if you didn't play with your food!

They are essentially a cheese made when milk spoils (best eaten fresh). Their overall flavor is mild and the texture on its own is tends to be rubbery but melts nicely in poutine. Sometimes they even squeak against your teeth (the inside tends to be porus, the squeeking is just air escaping). Not normally something you'd have on it's own, but either fried or melted it makes for a nice addition to a dish. If given the option to have it with real curds, poutine is worth a try :)
