Here's an updated version. Fixed a couple of errors an added a body so it doesn't look like a cat hat like in the first version. Enjoy.

I can definitely see where you're trying to go here, and it's came out well! It's a very good attempt, but if you're going for detail, you should probably go for smaller brushes. As it stands though, you've created a very cool effect, not dissimilar to a watercolour painting! Good attempt ^^.
I slapped did the body pretty quick. I did have a sketch to go by, just wanted to get rid of the hat effect. The head I had sketch. Normally I work at a higher resolution and then shrink it down. For some reason I didn't do that here. I plan on it for Cathy when I get to her. I'm thinking of making a more curly fur for her, perhaps white and tan with bright blue eyes.
