I feel kind of strange that the first bit of work I submit to FA is sewing/costume work and not artwork, but oh well XD

Here is a tiny 7" prototype of the tail pattern I will be using to make a full-sized Lakotatail for Califur in June :}

I wasn't sure how good the tail was going to look, so I made a 7"-long version before I went ahead and sewed the 2'-long version that I'll be wearing XD

It's not stuffed yet, and I'm not sure what I want to do with it (it doesn't seem right to walk around with what is essentially my character's severed tail as a keychain or something).

But I'm really happy with it overall, and I'm very glad that Lakota's markings translate well to faux fur XD
