Nature trolled a ton of chasers this week. What appeared to be a great tornado setup fizzled in less than an hour as an atomic cold front blasted from the west and undercut everything. This is as far as this potential supercell got before it was obliterated.

This reminds me of when I moved from West Virginia to Colorado. Riding the uhaul through Kansas with my roommate at the wheel, I saw a lot of the country. But what I was most amazed by was Kansas. Never had I been somewhere that the ground and sky met in every direction you looked, with little to no obstructions. I want to retire to Kansas someday just to sit on my porch and look at all that sky ^.^ My roommate was amused. He had helped several people move from the east out to the west over the years and he said every one of them, himself included, had been bored by Kansas cause there's nothing there to look at. The fact that there IS nothing there is what I find so absolutely enthralling <3
