A frontal shot. I cannot remember if this car later raced at Le Mans...but it was common of that era for beefed up grand prix cars to run in sports car races.

You have to be a special kind of mental to have driven one of those at race speed.
We still get that same danger-crazy person these days, only you don't find them on the racetrack, in modern racing cars.
