These are the roses I've been trying to dry in my window for about... 24-ish hours now. I took the picture on my phone and was playing with the program I currently have for general (simple) image editing (because I don't use/have PS because -insert hiss growl and swipe- ) and I was floored that I could get this nice effect <3 (these roses are an odd purple color by the way)
