Some new stuff I got from my trip to warhammer world a set of the Legion 5 man MK IV marines with the weapon upgrade kit as well. These guys I wanted to make for fun and use them as Astral Claws sterngurad veterans Sergeant with the plasma pistol and power sword, two guys with combi-plasmas (1 from the captian set and the other from the fine cast veterans set cut to be fitted to be used for the the guy on the far left) a guy with a chaos heavey bolter trimed to remove the chaso bits as best as I could, and a combi-melta. I did enjoy useing the kits for these guys

Not to sure I just wanted to build something with all these parts because the building part of this hobby is the most I enjoy of it and space marine parts are the most fun nto work with ^^. It might have been a devastator squad but I wanted to see what would happen as a veteran squad
fair enough, just it seems a little bit of an odd layout... considering that most people theme their sternguard to do one thing such as tank or monsterous creature hunting for melta weapons (meltas mixed with combi meltas) or Elite infantry/light vehicles/some monsters with plasma weapons, cheap to fill the ranks and get 30 inch bolters for no upgrade units or enchance that a little with heavy bolters or heavy anti infantry ability by taking say 2 heavy flamers and combi flamers, I just find it interesting seeing a unit with a mix and match of all the layouts in one ^.^;;
