Note: first sketch is less than an inch(2.5cm) tall
I know the head style in the middle looks cuter, but i am never sure if i should go cartoony
Notes on the last image from tumblrrrrr:
Hooves: finally pretty ok
Eyes: still derpy/creepy (also head a wee bit small…)
Cute factor: not enough.. (always needs moar, MOAR CUTE)
mostly…. pretty good though
Pondering: maybe he should be drawing himself?
Nae work tomorrow, moar drawing time ^^ … but for now, sleepsies
also, no damn idea what breed he is, he is too tall in the front end for most beef breeds, so something dairyish... >.>

I personally think the head style of the third sketch is cuter than in the second sketch. Too toony makes it not cute... in my opinion. I love realistic, or semi-toony.
As far as cute factor goes... mmm, I think it depends a lot upon the environment which you place him. If you place him inside an open book, scale of book matching the scale of the pencil, I think it's going to look incredibly cute. But that's just my thoughts. :)
