A rather larger grumpy cat that you might be used to seeing lately. Mahina, a black (or "melanistic") jaguar, lifts her head begrudgingly as I take photos. Sorry, spotcat, but I don't have enough photos of you OR other jaguars!

So beautiful. I love how you can just see the spots. And wow, jaguars are very interesting looking creatures- almost bear-ish looking in comparison to leopards. I've heard that domestic cats/dogs are very "kittenish" in their personality, do you find the same thing with big cats raised in captive at all?
