so yeah, the reason she's wearing only like a mantle or something is because of a coming of age ritual her family does (her parents are more based on tribal stndings than their daughter). she loves her parents alot, and she would gladly do what they did, even though she grows with electronics, so for a time she wears this, which is pased down by generations to wear as the become adults.
that and women have to cut their hair short for this too.
