B.C., in contrast to her surrogate sister Stripes, I feel fits the real attitude of house cats. Cold, yet insistent on demanding favors.

Oh, right! Okay! Yeah...
It's the REAL B.C. who's fixed. Or "spayed", as veterinarians call it. (in fact, "spayed" would have been the key word for you and Gami to say and I would have known what you meant right away)
It's a pity, but it helps justify the cold and aloof personality of her cartoon counterpart here. I mean, anyone who owns a cat can believe that some real cats are known to be that way anyway.
However, just because the real B.C. is spayed doesn't mean her cartoon counterpart CAN'T get knocked up...

Thanks that answer's my question. I asked because Neko-Gami is doing a Q&A on his Journal.
My question was and I quote, "What would you if B.C. kicked down your front door, punched you in the face, giving you a shiner, and told you.............................
I'm pregnant!"
His reply was that you told him that BC was fixed/sprayed. I guess we were talking about 2 different BC's.
Thanks again bye.
