Another of those moody pieces Schirm does with lots of broody black ink and a mysterious quote. In light of fake quoatations before, I looked this one up. Indeed there was a Memphis Jug Band that was popular in the 20's and 30's.

Jug bands are like skiffle-bands and garage bands and punk rock: "Anyone can make music" -- so they did. Free beer at parties.
Of course, not everyone can be a good musician. And the idea (or even the sounds) would drive a lot of people away because it doesn't sound like the high production music we hear through the mainstream media.
