The second short story I did for an intro to short story class.
Some info: This is [mostly] from the perspective of the dog. If you get a little confused, that's mostly intended. I tend to write abstractly and flowery so be aware of that and it will all make sense. I find it is becoming all too common that people take everything word for word and don't try to think about the meaning the whole picture is painting.

Another note: "floor" does not describe the outdoors.
