Raichu is a rat though...

Pikachu and his line are "mouse pokemon" not necessarily a true mouse per se. (rats could fall into this as well).

Anyways cool piccy. I am a rat according to the calendar myself so this year promises many good things.

BUT, Pikachu and Raichu (might include Pichu, though) are both or ALL Mouse PokéMon of the Electric Variety.
That was once explained on "Pikachu's Vacation". Right? So I'm right.
