First things first... allow me to say: HOLY SWEET STICKY BUNS BATMAN!
Now that that's out of the way, back to your regular scheduled submission comment:
Wow... just wow. So, there I was, rifling through my new submissions sheet and this one, certainly out of all of else, stood out the most prominently just in itty bitty thumbnail format. The colors are simply astounding here. The darkness of the sky well offset by quite possibly the BEST artwork clouds that I've EVER seen in such a warm, happy and certainly inviting color scheme.
As for the clouds in more depth... they are so gorgeously real. Like... I totally thought at first that you had been sneaky and took a picture of a lovely sunset, then snuck it in for a background. Upon a closer inspection, I then thought that maybe you had just "fuzzed' a picture up a bit. After a bit more studying further, I discovered that this too, was incorrect. This was pure and simple, painstakingly hand crafted cloud action. In a word? Wow. Simply wow. Tag team that with the fading on them given by the lighing and the darkening sky above and it is stunning. Absolutely stunning.
Then that brilliant job on the character... expertly done and certainly VERY well detailed. You even got the angle right for such a picture to really be totally feasable where the sky would reflect at it's brightest from the glassy surface of the undisturbed water, making it just about impossible to see where the sky ends and the water begins. There's a subtle delineation between the two, which took some time to find, as it should be, just enough to not see it unless you're looking for it, and there just enough to give that point of reference.
The same can certainly be said for the water itself. Ever so slight ripples in the water altering that which is being reflected from above to make it seem like it is just a continuation of the sky and the wolf (?) is merely floating, suspended in the most beautiful backdrop that can be conceived. Plus, the coloring blends so well with the rest of the picture, light, happy and airy certainly that it blends well. Yet, also at the same time contrasts, but just enough not to be a hard eyesore, or really pull the attention from the picture in whole. Plus, I think that the off set character placement not being in the center, really gives a much larger feel for the whole picture.
You really have outdone yourself with this, and it certainly is gorgeous from top to bottom. Well done m'dear! Very well done indeed!

This is an absolutely stunning piece! I cannot believe i didn't notice it sooner.. Please pardon me while i slap myself for this blasphemous mistake and pick my jaw up off the ground in the process.
But in all serious, this piece is stunning. There is so much beauty in it i don't know where to begin! So i believe i will leave this masterpiece with the adulation I believe if deserves.
"Bravicima, Bravicima a Masterpiece worthy of the ages. May it shine as bright as it's artist for centuries to come that the world might know of her talent"
