Journal #3 Sixteen Hundred hours-- The end of gaia as we know it: I have hidden my wife and hatch-lings, I lay in an abandoned bunker across town, i have not left in fear that I may be burned by the acidic baby bananas or made delirious by the scent. It has been three days and the yellow earth fruit are still raining from the heavens. Everything is still purple from the bombs. I am tired, hungry and fatigued. I have been living off of flies that have been made radioactive from feasting on the bananas, they have lost all good taste.
I fear i may not make it much longer, for the juice of squished death bananas are infiltrating my shelter. If i do not make it, i will leave this recording in hoes that my beloved and offspring will find this recording and know that i love them with all my heart. Reginald out.
