Showing off my Mexicana Flaire! Here's a picture finally of how tail-scarves can be used for the avian kind!
For those of you interested in reading, below is the little blurb that is in my Etsy shop about this tail-scarf.
~~~~~~~
Mexicana Flaire is one of my few tail-scarves handwoven from "printed" eyelash yarn. Named after the print of the yarn, this was a dream to weave! The colors are bright and vibrant, and the texture is soooo soft. Because it is handwoven instead of knitted, this tail-scarf has a pleasant weight to it, but is still lightweight and breathable enough to wear right into the sping.
It's been lots of fun to costume with as well! My current favorite way to accessorize with it is to thread a belt through the weave a few times and wear it as a parrot tail.
Whether as a little bit of southern sunshine to wrap around your neck or as a playful accent to a costume, this tail-scarf will warm up a little spot in your wardrobe with no trouble at all.
This tail-scarf is 4 ft 8 in long and weighs approximately 5 oz.
NOTE ME IF INTERESTED!
~~~~~~~
Currently, the only one of my tail-scarves to exist in this pattern is the one pictured. However, I will happily take orders for this type of tail-scarf, simply send me a note. The self-striping yarn results in a unique pattern when woven, so every scarf made is different!
