Well, the usual choices are:

Fighter: Hits the bad guys until they fall down.
Rogue: Sneaky thief
Cleric: Healer
Druid: Magic forest ranger, lots of nature magic
Paladin: Holy Warrior
Monk: Martial Artist
Wizard: Merlin-type. Studies magic.
Sorcerer: Intuitive magic.

(Of course, they're changing and adding things in 4th edition...)

I think it's well-drawn and quite adorable. And they already have a DM... get it? Dungeon Master... DragoMike? *runs before he's tomatoed*

D'awwwwwwwwww, I love the faces Pachyman. They're so cute. :D Specially Dragomike. Tomby seems to got that 'layered' face though.

Thanks! You've inspired me to try new things with coloring. I'm slowly putting colors from things around the characters onto the characters (little bit of blue shading on their lower parts to reflect the blue carpet, little bit of yellow to reflect the light on the post). You make it look so easy - I've got a lot to learn!

We don't usually see these guys with the detailed lard-bodies you often draw, but this is a good one once I settle in. Quite well-colored, and good scene setup. Way to work in the shirts, too.

Both of these guys have a very toony style to their art, whereas I . . . don't know what my style is ^^ I was hoping they wouldn't mind another's interpretation of their characters. Thanks for the comment!

You have a semi-toony style. More realistic, more solid, but still cartoonish.

Nice work, btw. Though you should know, most D&D is played without the board. We just sit around a table, using our imaginations, and only drag out a board when battle or other conditions make "what can I see" an important question.

From the photos I've seen, Tomb was wearing a shirt at one point that says "I [Godzilla] Tokyo."

Yeah - instead of a heart, it was a red image of Godzilla. I figured it would look like a red splatter if I drew it on the shirt :)

Excellent work, I really, really do love their body shapes in this, they're so...lumpy dumpy yummy lookin'. And those folds around DM's tail is sooo nice to look at, not to mention the bulk on Tomb's legs. The clothing is cute, I think their faces are expressive and just, look quite good. They really do.

Delightful color and shade work, and I love that you even threw in the silhouettes in the back there (I THEE YOOOOOU). A pic that's nummy to look at, and one that y'can certainly appreciate the situation of. :) Groovy stuff.

Thanks Starfig! I was experimenting with the body shapes for a while before I went with this bottom heavy look. I also tried giving them long necks, but it looked kinda freaky. You must have a big monitor to see me in the background - that was supposed to be me, doing sort of an Alfred Hitchcock silhouette ^^

I do have a big monitor...screwed up and old as it is...it at least gives me the size to appreciate small details like that I guess. :P

Long necks, that sometimes can look a little weird with girth, sometimes not, it's tricky to pull off at times. I like-a whatcha did though.

Personally, I'm surprised that both Tomby and DM could even see the table top they are playing D&D on, beyond their respective expanses! They'd each have to bend way over just to read the multi-sided die, in order to determine their next move!

Perhaps, Pachyman, you might render a few sequels to this "Future Games" series, with more 'fat furs' at play. A sure thing could be the classic board game "Candy Land" - I'll leave the scenario (and the participating characters) up to your imagination...

I'm still considering a 1'=12" scale version of 'hungry, hungry hippos' ^^

You could probably use pumpkins (or similarly large produce) in the place of marbles for that game!
