Mechanically? Kid has this, hands-down. Taitan, being a Dark-type Pokemon, is horrendously weak to Close Combat - a rather crazy strong move even when it's NOT hitting weakness. Fire Punch for chip (since it's base power is increased by 50%), and then Close Combat for a decisive victory. I don't really see how Taitan has the moveset that could overcome Kid's rather staggering advantages in this match.

Kid stops playing Bastion long enough to overhear talk of a pokemon also named Kid. he checks it out, and considers the opposition the Zangoose is up against. it looks like a fair fight, but that's before the Kid notices the zangoose has fire punch and it's a sunny day. on top of that, a fighting type move has the Kid thinking that his Zangoose alike might win against the dark type umbreon.
