One of my assignments this month has been digging out the trashpile left by the previous owner in the area we're opening for the horses and found a lost lighter. I got it working and found the faux-printed scrimshaw had been washed off from exposure.
I sanded off what grooves I could and decided to have some fun while recovering from being sick this week. First I did scrimshaw of 2 furry logos that mean a lot to my fandom side on the back, Furpride ™ and my version of the lifestyler "Furry Forever!" ™ from my alt.furry. days. (Does LavaDragon still make Tshirts?)
Since this was practice for the front, I didnt' mind too much when the ink washes found grooves from the cheesy seascape were still there, I just deepened the cuts and broke out the paints. ^_^
