You can say your Mother, that I promise with my honor to take good care of you and defend you with my own life, if it would be necessary.
But I don't think there would be any danger. Poland is rather safe, if you know where not to go. I know that, so I've never been attacked by anyone (even while returning home at 3.00 AM through the centre of Warsaw), but it's mostly because my Guardian Angel.

I think she's just afraid for my safety because she doesn't know you or your family. Also, I would be going alone and she doesn't like it when I go anywhere alone. She's very protective over me.

She just cares of you, and that's very good. It means she loves you.
I think my mom would faint if I told her that I'm going to America. I've never been so far. I've already been in south-east Asia and in northern Africa, but never in USA. And it's rather difficult to get a visa to USA for polish people.

I'm happy that she loves me enough to worry, though I don't want her to be too worried about me. She realizes that I'm too adventurous to stay in my home area for long and she wants she's trying to keep me here forever. It's just time for her to let me make my own decisions, just like all parents have to.

Every good mother is like that. It's normal.
My mother also had problems with accepting, that I'm already mature enough to be on my own. But she finally did.
I love adventures and travels but only with person worth that. I really don't like travelling without companionship.

That's because if everyone could go to USA, nobody would stay here. We have a polish saying "No need for visa to go to USA? Ok! Last man leaving turns the lights off!"

That's because some of that money they embezzle, some they need to pay people working in the enormous bureaucracy machine (over 1 000 000 officials, and in Poland we have about 36 000 000 citizens), the rest is going for social needs. Especially for people who don't want to work and they prefer to drink cheap wine. Argh...

Ugh, that's a major problem here too, people not wanting to work and expecting the government to take care of them. I think there should be laws to make it harder for them to be like that.

I think it's not as big problem, as it is here. In Poland less than 10 000 000 people work. And they work for the other 26 000 000...

Yes, scholarship (even univesities) and madical care are social. But it sucks.
Some of our profesors don't even can afford for a car. Teachers are one of the most poor profession. Doctors have to work 16 hours a day, if they want to live in a fair way.
And when I went to a public clinic, to neurologist, because I had problems (I was fainting even several times a day!) she said, that I'm... erm... there's no english word for that. She just offended me.
And when I came to a clinic in Warsaw, because of heart problems, they told me to get out, because I haven't got proper dovuments.

O.O That's horrible! That isn't morally right either. Doctors shouldn't be doctors just to make money, they should have that profession because they care about people and their health. I think that's unfair, and immoral that they would do such a thing.

I don't understand why teachers are underpaid, even in this country. Teachers should be a profession that makes a large amount of money, they are the ones educating the population which is a huge and important job.

What have you done with your heart problems and fainting? Were you cured? Does it affect you now?

I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions, it worries me that you've had those problems and were treated in such a way. Maybe I care too much? ^-^;;

And that's right. But they're not because of public scholarship. In Poland if you want to earn a fair salary, you have to be businessman or have no mature exam, but f. e. build houses.
Or be an official or a part of government, or any other kind of thief. ;-P

Thank God, I'm okay now. But once last year I thought I was dying (even an ambulance came). But since then - I have no problems. Only sometimes I feel a little pain in a heart, but it's because of I'm tired or haven't sleep enough.

If God gave you an experience like that to wake you up, then there must be a big plan for your future. It wouldn't surprise me, you seem like the kind of person destined for something great.

Actually it wasn't a heart attack (happily), but it felt like that. I hardly could breath, almost couldn't move and have a feeling of panic (I have something like that only when my life if in danger, f. e. when I was overdrived by a car... twice ;-P ). But I think it was just a warning.

Oh, Andrew is actually Andrzej Pilipiuk, novelist, archeologist, my master and very good friend. He said that if God saved me so many times from the fold of death, he propably has some plans about me.
I've wanted to do something great since my childhood, but I'm only a simple man... I don't know what I could do.
I think it's just because He loves me so much.

But isn't that also what happens in the Bible? Great things happened to many simple men, yet God still chose them. Your friend is very smart, and I think he's right too. God must have big plans for you.
