Especially when a big wave takes you by surprise and the sea's up to your knees or even higher! Or ooh, ooh, building a sandcastle near the sea and trying to keep the waves from getting to it by digging moats! ^.^

In the last panel, Zeezee's speech bubble should be higher than Souffle's. Most people read top-to-bottom, then left-to-right (The second panel here is a good example: http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/.....6-belt_575.png ). Ideally the text bubbles that come early will be top-left of other bubbles, but if you can only pick one, top-to-bottom is more important than left-to-right. The characters' positions are not really conducive to comic dialogue, though. That should have been worked out during the sketch.

Well, you could have had Souffle move closer to Abbey and be reaching for Gem as if to put her in the pool, which would put Zeezee on the far far right with Souffle in the middle. If you're dead set on the current arrangement, Zeezee's speech bubble could be placed in the dead space in the top-middle of the panel and Souffle's moved to where Zeezee's is, like this: http://gyazo.com/d8e63a1d540245f4aa323e9d99952f2a

Looks like Zeezee got a bit more than wet. Those look like patches of gray sand on his trousers.
