A more New Wave-inspired composition, inspired by the likes of The Chameleons and The Comsat Angels "Land" period.


West Hill is a reserve nearby where I live that is attached to a lot of my childhood memories and connection with nature. My grandfather often took me there to the dam to watch the swallows along the banksides. It included a grand view of the coniferous valley, and secluded, quiet walks through windy forested trails. Writing this, especially the opening melody reminded me of Comsat Angels "Nature Trails" off their Land album..and it instantly brought my that environmental-connection.
