Crappy coloring? Nah.
All it lacks is some shading. The fact that it's a flat color of one primary sort is the only 'flaw' I see here. Just shade muscle lines and the likes, and I think you'll have a COMPLETELY different opinion. :3

I'd offer tips, but I use Colors 3D, on my 3DS.
If it helps any, when I am shading on that, I place a layer over the actual image, then select a darker shade of the color I want to shade, and apply that as a mostly-transparent color.
Of course, I am sure it is different with computer programs, but...
