First, let me start by saying this was waaaaay overdue.
Second, and allow me to make this clear.....due to personal reasons.....I DO NOT DRAW COUPLE STUFF ANYMORE! (This one was a special exception)
Anyway I hope you enjoy all enjoy the picture. Tell me what you think. I haven't done a background in a long time so this looks a little bland. But I tried.

I personally feel the background was very well done. There's beauty in simplicity.
They're also both very well detailed, Dante's pants are especially cool.
However, I do want to point out that Dante's forehead is massive and eyes are too wide from this view-point on both characters.
Along with bringing the ears forward more on their head, these are things you should keep in mind for the next time.
