
I know a lot of people have experience with it, but this is mine. I drink a lot and eat terribly, among other numbing and neglectful acts. A few drinks now and then is fun but when I'm down I can't stop at 1.

yeah, habits like this aren't easy to break and aren't going to go away fast either. the best advice i can say is if you're determined enough then you will succeed. perhaps you can try cutting down the amount of alcohol by half of what you usually drink when you're down and just keep cutting down each week. As for over eating i can suggest that you eat a normal sized meal and chase it down with milk, for some reason you get full quick when you drink milk. so that should reduce your appetite. However you might already know this and might already in the process of doing but it doesn't hurt to say somthin ya know.
