I should have had a bigger bottle, with ice in it. The costume is so hot that later that evening I passed out sitting up. The excellent and dedicated first aid guys at A-Kon helped me out, got me some ice water, and kept an eye on me until I could get up and walk back to the room I was staying in. Since then, I've altered the outfit to be lighter and cooler, and always make sure to drink water every 15 minutes. Cosplay is more difficult than hiking in the West Texas mountains, it seems...
