While it is difficult to be sure without a fore paw print, in this case I would bet anyone else's hand it's a "she" on the head proportions. Say 75.34% sure... or not.

No no expert at all. But as a kid, I read too many of those old time hunting books. The good ones had some beautiful descriptions of the nature there and great details about the behavior of wild animals.

Not like I had many tigers, elephants or water buffaloes near my home. LOL. But I've always been curious and kept checking anything I read when I had a chance. This looks quite female to me, still most of the rest are in a grey zone to me. Paw pads are easier to read, but any young one would still confuse me.
