This is Tallow "Tee" Fleetfoot, who for obvious reasons insists on her abbreviated name at all times.
Those of you who've watched my uploads the last year or two will also have noticed I have a really hard time drawing her. She's ranged from surprisingly sexy to really quite gormless, and I'm tired of that happening because she deserves better.
So, when things get hard, I make maths! Or in this case, ratios. You can see I've taken in a fair bit of manga influence in these studies, but I've tried to soften the edges with a bit of reality to produce a more hybrid angle. Pretty pleased with these, really, cos it is damn hard to keep a character looking the same in multiple pictures. I know she's not perfect, but I'll be using these as my reference for her from here on, and hopefully deliver better pictures with her in future :)
Tee of course belongs to my story, the Foxwood Chronicles and often features in my art.
Left in the guidelines and ratio markers for the curious. The chin-nose-eyebrows-forehead turn out to be key to the style. In reality these are often 1:1:1, but here I lengthen the middle of the face to allow for larger eyes, while trying to dodge the huge forehead that tends to come with short hair.
