so I have had my eyes on my dads old 2003 Honda shadow 1100, and yesterday he tosed me the keys and said if i renew my license and get the bike running againe it's mine. the last time ti ran was about 2 or 3 years ago so the battery is dead and the front tire is low plus it's starting to rust but with alittle work ill have this thing back to kick ass ness.

kinda, this isn't such a big job I only need to replace the battery and than possibly replace the tire but i aired it up yesterday and it hasn't gone down yet so it may have just been bad air pressure.
how ever I want to strip the paint from the fenders and tank and repaint them. also i probably should take all the rusty parts and sand blast them down so the rust doesn't get worse but re croming is really expensive and I'm jobless so... ya

I don't get why people want the annoying high pitched Japanese bikes. You don't look good riding them and they look about as impressive as they sound. But an older bike or one in this style is 100 times more awesome. Especially if that bike is a WWII American bike, thise things sound and look amazingly boss, you fill the tank with aweosme sauce and leave a trail of fire on the road behind you.
ya but I don't want to sell my organs for 2 wheels and an engine.
look I would love a Harley or an Indian but unless you get the old ones ie pre 1980 you might as well just by a over priced Japanese pos it's the same dam bike but with turndowns in the exhaust don't believe me talk to a gear-head who works on the old ones AND the new ones

Well since I already am down a kidney, an apendix, some part of my intestines, and have terrible eye sight; I don't think the black market can take anything else without me dying. So that means no bike for me. I could by a WWII American jeep though since I did see one for $8500 which isn't bad at all.

The last....Probably The Best looking big Retro styled cruiser that honda ever made. I love the aero 1100. Gorgeous bikes. Hope it has turned out well for you. I had a VT750 Shadow ACE but my father sold it, And I miss it dearly. Allthough I have a plan to get another one in the future. I liked it enough I figured i would get another.
