Each year I strive to make myself a new head to see how much I've improved. There's still some kinks I need to iron out ,but overall I'm extremely happy with how this head came out.
Mai Tai came about while I was looking for some tropical drinks. I wanted something that reminded me of the days I spent on the beach in Hawaii. For some reason a Mai Tai came to mind. ._.'. The design was never really finalized. He's basically an artistic liberty project to myself.
Features:
-A moving jaw. This guy sports a new hinge deisgn for added comfort and a two springs to aid the moving jaw.
-My new canine resin blank
-magnets everywhere! He has a magnet near the top of his head so I can change out his hair poofs. (As you can see I've yet to install it). The second magnet is inside the mouth so I can take out and replace his tongue with different styles.
-He'll soon feature a fan inside the muzzle ,but that will be saved for another time. Due to the design ,I've found I hardly overheat inside the head. :D It's one of the coolest heads I've made.
-Longer neck flaps
-Printed buckram eyes

Edit 1: Do you think he needs eyebrows? I feel ,due to the eyebrow ridge, he doesn't really need any. What do you guys think?

lmfao XDD. You made my day Bawnii! Your reaction is awesome haha! Thank you >3<. I'm happy you like him so much ;A;!!! The blue , yellow, and reds hit me way to hard. I couldn't resist ;A;. He even has a pink tongue for a more mellow now so saturatured from hell look LOL.
aawww that sucks. im gonna be ordering a foam head from

It's not to bad! You're basically printing on buckram instead of paper :D. I'd say all you'd need to watch out for is making sure there's no loose ends when you cut the buckram and to make sure it's alligned correctly. My printer is gravity fed ,I'm not sure if that makes any differences ,but is sure keeps that printer from jamming up as bad as my other ones XD.

See..that's what I thought too until I placed some mock eyebrows on him. They looked awful and actually made you feel a bit confussed when you stared at him. I believe I should have added those big circle eyebrows into the suit design like I had origionally planned. That seems like the only happy medium between having eyebrows and having a nice expression.

All I really did was stick some buckram in my printer and hit go x3. You're basically printing on buckram like it's paper. Granted you need to keep an eye on it. I've never had problems with printing on fabric ,but I've heard horror stories of peoples machines breaking due to unraveled fabric getting caught in there. Use at your own risk basically lol.
