Rush Gunners are young little fellas found in the slowly-growing universe I'm working on as a side project. Usually considered uncapable of fighting in the front or middle lines - be it for physical or psychological reasons - they are assigned the control of light turrets, which can be disassembled and reassembled in a relatively short time (with the proper tools and transportation). Rush gunners operate mostly in ambushes or defending advanced positions, and are sometimes assisted by younger gunners in training.

Most gunners are used to wearing additional gear to protect their eyes and ears - especially after a few unpleasant experiences using guns for the first time. As a last resort, they also carry a dagger on the left hip for close-hand combat.

Ah, this is just a quick sketch to be painted later. I was more concerned with the idea behind the character than the art itself, so voilá :)
