Drawn for my good friend Amber. The Drakiti (pictured) are a fictional race of her creation. Adults range from 3-4 feet in height, and the race is related to dragons so they share a number of physical traits and exhibit similar variability of features. While the lack of wings and long, finny ears are the norm, features such as colouration, horns, manes, and body covering can vary between individuals. Cute little guys!

Dawww - very cute, and they have such awesome toes! :D Hmm... one slight adjustment for pose would be to give him a bit more of a forward gait with a bit larger thighs - as a digitigrade, they'd be haunched over a bit more, methinks. It's an often overlooked thing with digitigrades. I do love how beefy the feet are though - very strong and have lots of contact on the ball of the foot and toes.
Hmm, yeah I can see what you mean! I think you're right, it'll be a good thing to keep in mind for the future. Still working out details like that of how to draw digitigrades properly even after all these years!
I like the big paws too. ^^ For one, I think big paws just make more sense with many digitigrade bipeds, though with these guys in particular they're meant to have an overall kind of cute look to them. And what's cuter than big paws? ;)
