I found this when i was going through my art binder, i'm 96.54 percent sure i never uploaded it anywhere. But it's not that bad... even though apparently it was from 2006. I don't know how it could be from 2006... but that appears to be what the date says. I'm pretty sure i inked this when i was sitting around at FC last year though. o.o Oh well.
I'd planned on colouring it ...or something. (OMG, i actually waited to upload something until it was done! ...hence why it never made it :P)
Anyhow, it's a donkey girl. This is kind of a moody picture, i don't know if you'd notice that right off... but she's troubled.
Maybe the fact that she's lying on the soft furry skin of a non-anthro donkey might have something to do with it?
And maybe also that she and the deceased share the same brand?
Judging by her attire, it's reasonable to assume she is not in control of her own destiny, and from that one can conclude that perhaps she will share the same fate as her quadrupedal friend at the hands and blades of whatever 'advanced' society has her in bondage. And it seems that she is fully aware of this...
Anyhow, i like her harness.
I might put this in scraps - also i may upload some other 'scraps' that i have lying about. Does anyone want to see some of my unfinished and sometimes random crap?

You. Why do you have to break my heart with such pics.;_;
It's awesome, it'd be nice to see it finished, or at least shaded, though I dunno if you're planning to work on this since it's so old.
I'd come up with something more meaningful to say, because the message can be interpreted in many different ways but I have to run. D:

I would love to see more of your rough sketches and the works-in-progress that you're not going to finish or that didn't make the grade. Frequently I go through stages where I clean out my desk and let my friends take anything they want (it would be like the illustration version of roomfulls of Rapunzel's hair around here if I didn't)... I get a lot of "Why on earth didn't you finish this?!" whenever I do. I'm sure you know by now that other people enjoy different aspects of your work than you do sometimes and we all know that we're our own worst critic, so sometimes it's very enjoyable to see something the artist themselves didn't like... it might be the viewer's new favorite piece. It's also nice to see how an artist progresses or that they might not do everything absolutely perfect; it says a lot about the work that goes into it and makes it more of a "real" process and less of a magically-finished product, heh. In my opinion, anyhow. *grin*
On a side note, so jealous of your ability to illustrate hooves. I grew up on a 17-acre Arabian stud farm... you'd think I'd know how hooves work. I should go practice... mice and horses can play together, right? *wink*

Yeah, that old saying "one man's junk is another man's treasure" certainly applies to our piles of old and unfinished art. :)
My hooves still aren't perfect, but i have studied them a little :D They're kind of something i love. Well, hooves and those who have them, that is!

Hrm... on pondering this more... I wonder if it would work to group together 5 - 10 discarded pieces (ranging from loose muscle structure to actual half-finished sketches) and sell them as sort of a "grab bag of lost pictures". Broken people are appealing... broken pictures might be appealing as well. *chuckle*
Yeah, a few parts here are lightly sketched/partly erased graphite (like the brands) because i was planning on doing them solely with whatever colouring medium i ended up using. The pencil is just there now as a guide.
You're welcome to try colouring this too, let me know and i can hook you up with a bigger version. :)

Wow, this is superbly beautifully creepy and a nice evocative mood piece. Wonderful work on her pose, body language and expression.
I like the harness too. BTW, I'm starting collecting artwork for a gallery book of artistic bondage. Would you be interested in submitting work for that? I will be paying authors to use their work, as well as sharing any eventual profits.

This is a psychologically impacting piece. Her expression and body language definitely tell a story of the nightmarish situation that she is trapped in. If only there was a way to save her from the fate that awaits. I like the detailing on the harness. Rings and straps are always fun details to draw. I wouldn't mind seeing more of your sketches.
dorsal stripe =D *bucks exitedly*
er.. sorry to ruin the mood but dorsal stripes make me happy ^^U
>< grr.. wished there was something I could do to change her fait, it's not fair that creatures like her are "used" like objects =( if they're ever put to work the person responsible of her should view her as a partner and not just as an object xP

I love the soft, pliable shape her body has taken in this moment of repose... it's something that's not seen as often in your art because most of your other poses are tweaked by the addition of harnesses and straps, not working harmoniously with them. (Not that I don't like your other poses -- I'm just saying that this one looks more... gentle, I guess!) She's such a beautiful girl... Perhaps we can convince you that she's in ned of finishing by the sheer amount of commentary that this post has received.
awwwwww...;__;
