I'd read about Blondie's "contest-type thingie" ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/277590/ ) and while this isn't a serious entry it did inspire me to doodle this out. I suspect that Blondie has *some* standards for both boyfriends and whirlwind romances, and the Maus has not enough morals to fill a thimble. He might be able to convince her that he's decent long enough for a date, though... at least until he starts drinking... <.< >.>

And, I don't think you should extend the contest date... that's a whole month away, practically... perhaps it's the pessimist in me, but I think the procrastinators will still be procrastinating and all that would happen is that you'll wait another month. You might try to get the word out more, though?
