Gradient-shaded comish/piece for
Darius of himself and 
AxysDrakard , Darius being the pouncer and Axys being the pounced, lol. This is actually the prize piece for Axys for winning Darius' recent 'Your Character Here' auction.
MY GOLD! says Darius.
GET OFF ME. I AM THE NIGHT. says Axys.
Hehe.
Darius approved the initial sketch of this and then he wanted the two of them in a cave full of gold. XD So the lighting was a little difficult to work around with, the browns/golds doing their best to clash with pretty blues of the dragons, and I got a bit more involved in the character and background details than I expected I would. And yes, that is some short fur all over Darius, for he is the fluffy dragon!
But overall, I'm happy with how it turned out. ^^ Imagine there's a fire lit in the cave somewhere and is reflecting off the insanely shiny gold, hence the orange light and reflections. Durr-durr, tried finding a reference of a cave full of gold and faaaaailed.
Ancient caves with treasure hiding in them are a hell of a lot dirtier and grittier than this - this is a luxury cave. I've been underneath Jerusalem, believe me, it's slimy. But...I don't wanna talk about it. :0

Awesome image, and interesting little story to go with it, though to be fair to me expressions seem a bit more than just "My Gold," & "Get off of me. I am the Night". To me this pounce could turn into a cave romp about, I mean, the one on tom looks controlling, and the one on bottoms expression is like priceless. The way the gold also glows to add such ambient light I feel is another thing, as well as what look like trickling flecks of embers also add its own sense to the light and atmosphere of the image, well drawn.
