I know--the plane isn't the Beaver you've all grown accustomed to seeing thanks to my previous pictures. It's a PA-12 Super Cruiser...being flown simply for pleasure, to any location I feel.
On this particular day, my feelings were saying "land on Thorne River". Because 1) I've never done it before; and 2) why not? And really, that's what flying is all about.
