How quirky! Certainly a new thing for you to draw! Thus proving your artistic integrity! This critter looks both cute and scary at the same time! I adore that 'Oooh-whatsthat?' expression on his face, and those webbed paws are awesome ^__^ Certainly a creature from the black lagoon! I cant say i've ever seen a cute one of these XD Bravo, sir! His frills are adorable too ^-^

Very nice work, especially the water effects & lighting. You evoke the feeling of the endless expanse of open sea in every direction. I love that.
Also very cute how he seems mesmerized by his own luminescence.

I really like this. Its different and I love the coloring. The endleessness of the ocean is a nice feel. I like the unique look the creature has.. kind of frog like and yet furry at the same time in the face. He looks as if he is looking at something up there.. I wonder what it is. o.o

Kinda weird though, I don't usually comment on pics on here. But this one I have to.
I had a dream just last night and it inspired me to create a new character. The dream was about a dolphin that learned magic and such from the mermaids and used it to give himself the ability to change shape and breath air. I dunno... was thinking about writing a story about it at some point.
Just was a strange coincidence to see someone has been drawing sea-art while I was dreaming about it I guess O.o;
Kinda weird though, I don't usually comment on pics on here. But this one I have to.

Oh wow, that's cool! Completely unexpected too! Usually I don't like aquatic pictures, but besides being extremely well drawn (of course :P), he's actually really adorable! I love his eyes, and his silly expression as he follows that little light-thing hanging from his head. And well... yeah, I can't ignore that awesome arse either ;)

And if he wanted to try something different, this lil' otter would be happy to try it with him! (Just as long as I can have a time-out for breath every ten minutes or so.) So cute! ...in kind-of a froggish way, but that's okay, I like frogs.
The only thing about him -- and you have to look closely -- is the way his skin bunches around his hips, under his abdomen. It almost looks like something he's wearing instead of his own skin. OTOH I love the way he seems hypnotized by the bioluminescent tip of his own head spike, which is itself a cute, deely-bobber-ish touch. (He's part angler fish?)

At the first moment (when i looked at the thumbnail) It looked a kind of creepy with those full yellow eyes,
But when i loaded the ful size one i saw the pupils i saw ah very cute creature.

you know what, this has been infront of me the whole bloody time!!! i have been making a charactor, fishboy and i have drawn and drawn and drawn again and again and a freaking gain and never have i come up with an idea that suits him... i think i can finally make the cartoon! when i am done (and god knows how long that will take) i will put it up on this site and i want to use YOUR merman for fishboy, my super hero that i invented, also though i need a female version, for another charactor, my sidekick, my wife which my real life wife demanded i put in my cartoon, so please, i am looking forward to your reply!
hey this is good! i am STILL looking for a profile photo, maybe i could use this one but if i had to sum this up i would say... WTF?! is this porn lol! whats that... lump thing where the something else should be!!! lol but its good though, its good, maybe have one leg so that its covering up that... weird... lump lol.
