Depends on the style. I've been working on this one since... November I think. But only because the man who commissioned it, flaked out once it neared completion. So it sat in my WIP drawer until a man I used to work with asked if I was taking commissions. I sent him a photo of all my WIP blades laid out and he picked this one and told me to surprise him with the hilting. Usually I can finish a simple knife in around 2 days. One day to forge, grind and rough polish then let it start annealing, the next day would be hardening, tempering, and making all the blade furniture
